
Hello :) A little about me..
Sarah is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Nurse Corps Reserves. She is nationally certified to care for mental health patients across the lifespan. As a mother herself, Labor and Delivery Nurse for 13+ years, and prior Lactation Consultant, she is passionate for Women during the perinatal period. She specializes in mood disorders, depression OCD, PTSD, and anxiety. Sarah uses a supportive, compassionate, solution-focused approach to help patients navigate their mental health challenges.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Phys from Hanover College, where she also played Division 3 soccer. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City University and was commissioned into the United States Navy Nurse Corps upon her graduation in 2012. Her career in the Navy enhanced her skills and fueled her passion for women's and mental health. As a labor and delivery nurse, she provided support to new families, recognizing the emotional and unique challenges they faced. Many families being on opposite coasts from their support systems. In 2019, Sarah transitioned to being a full-time mom, lactation consultant, and Navy Reserve Officer. She further advanced her education at Frontier Nursing University, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on psychiatry across the lifespan. As a nationally board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she continues to seek opportunities to help others navigate life's challenges.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, coaching recreational soccer, hiking, leisurely reading, and biking.
